Julie Ord is a Social Media Strategist. Her pre-social-media world background in the fashion retail industry as a director with a national brand included marketing, creative, visual merchandising, sales, team development and management, and training. Her industry experience then led to concept creation of her own retail store. As Social Media first began to emerge, she used it as a branding and marketing tool for her business as an innovative way to reach an audience. Over the years she was asked to assist other businesses, organizations and nonprofits with Social Media strategy, and chose to make a switch and concentrate on it full time. She offers a unique perspective as a business owner that actually used Social Media for branding her business, and has translated that to creatively helping brands, businesses, organizations and nonprofits leverage the power of this fast-changing and evolving tool. Her ongoing specialization in the industry enables her to personalize these tools for each client. Julie assists local, national, and international clients with Social Media strategy, optimization, and implementation, along with consulting on overall digital strategy and implementation.
